Galvanized Flat Bar
Galvanized Flat Bar
The flat shape and hot-dip galvanizing process not only provide corrosion resistance but also make it easy to cut, drill, weld, and shape. This facilitates processing and installation in various projects, such as constructing platforms and stairs, or for use in building frameworks and support beams.

Applications
Construction and Infrastructure: Often used as structural supports (beams, columns, frames), gratings, platforms, stairs, fences, and railings.
Machinery Manufacturing and Industrial Equipment: Used for producing a variety of equipment frames, brackets, agricultural machinery parts, and components for automotive and transportation infrastructure.
Power and Telecommunications: Essential for cable trays, pipe supports, and structural parts in transmission line towers and communication towers.
Agriculture and Livestock: Used to create corrosion-resistant equipment such as fencing and feed trough supports.
Other Specific Applications: Includes uses in marine engineering (for non-immersed parts), solar and wind energy equipment supports, and certain decorative and artistic applications.
Manufacturing Process
Hot Rolling: Steel billets or slabs are heated and passed through rollers to shape them into the desired flat bar sizes.
Hot-Dip Galvanization: The hot-rolled flat bars are cleaned (degreased, pickled, rinsed, fluxed) and then dipped in molten zinc to form a durable, corrosion-resistant zinc-iron alloy coating.
