Galvanized Round Tubing
Galvanized Round Tubing
The choice of galvanization for this pipe offers several advantages: it requires less maintenance, has lower repair costs, and enjoys a longer lifespan compared to uncoated steel. Furthermore, it provides initial cost benefits over other coating materials, making it a practical and economical option for various applications.

Advantages
Excellent Corrosion Resistance
Durable zinc coating protects against rust and corrosion, ideal for outdoor and humid conditions.
Optimal Flow and Pressure Handling
Circular shape minimizes stress concentration, making it ideal for fluid transport and pressure vessels.
Superior Resistance to Torsion
Round cross-section resists twisting forces better, ideal for applications requiring rotational strength.
Long Service Life
Hot-dip galvanizing ensures lasting protection and reliable performance.
Applications
Structural: Scaffolding, handrails, guardrails, temporary supports.
Fencing: Posts and frames for various outdoor fences and gates.
Fluid Conveyance: Water and gas lines (non-potable/medium pressure), irrigation systems.
General Fabrication: Furniture frames (industrial style), gym equipment, display stands, agricultural structures (e.g., greenhouses).
Manufacturing Process
Galvanized tubes can be welded or seamless to form the base tube; either way, the overall process steps do not differ much.
- ERW Galvanized Round Tubing: Flat steel coil is shaped into a round form and welded using high-frequency welding. The finished ERW tube is then cleaned and hot-dip galvanized by immersing it in molten zinc for corrosion resistance, followed by cooling and inspection.
- Seamless Galvanized Round Tubing:A solid steel billet is heated and pierced to form a hollow tube, then rolled and sized to the desired round dimensions. This seamless tube is then cleaned and hot-dip galvanized in molten zinc for enhanced corrosion resistance, followed by cooling and inspection.
