Galvanized Square Bar

Galvanized Square Bar

Galvanized Square Bar is a solid steel material with a square cross-section, recognized for its exceptionally high strength and load-bearing capacity. Its shape ensures even stress distribution, making it ideal for framework structures, support columns, and infrastructure projects. Additionally, the zinc coating on its surface offers excellent corrosion protection, making this square steel bar an ideal choice for outdoor use and marine environments. Furthermore, it can be easily adapted to various engineering projects, fulfilling different design and construction needs through common processes such as cutting, welding, and drilling.

More Details

Advantages

  • Exceptional Strength
  • Superior Corrosion Resistance
  • Uniform Stress Distribution
  • Long Service Life & Low Maintenance

Applications

Heavy-Duty Structural Frameworks: Perfect for strong frames, columns, and supports in industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

Outdoor & Marine Environments: Excellent choice for applications exposed to harsh weather, moisture, or saltwater due to its corrosion resistance.

Machinery & Equipment Manufacturing: Used for durable components, shafts, and bases in heavy machinery.

Security & Fencing: Provides strong, durable posts and frameworks for high-security fences and gates.

Manufacturing Process

  1. Forming & Preparation: Raw steel is Hot Rolled (or Cold Drawn) into a solid square bar, then thoroughly cleaned (degreased, pickled, rinsed, fluxed) to prepare the surface for zinc bonding.
  2. Hot-Dip Galvanizing & Finishing: The prepared bar is Hot-Dip Galvanized by immersion in molten zinc, forming a durable protective coating. It is then cooled and inspected for quality.
