Galvanized Steel Perforated Square Tube

Galvanized Steel Perforated Square Tube

Galvanized perforated square tubes are square tubes with evenly spaced holes on their surface. The base material is carbon steel, and they have excellent anti-corrosion qualities after the hot-dip galvanizing process. Its perforated design allows for flexible organization and secure fastening without welding, making it highly adjustable. Different sizes can even telescope (nest) into each other. This design not only aids in ventilation and drainage but also makes it suitable for a variety of applications, including shelving, traffic signposts, and agricultural equipment frames.

Manufacturing Process

  1. Drilling: Use an automated drilling machine to accurately drill holes in the square pipe material following a precise pattern.
  2. Hot-dip galvanizing: Clean the perforated steel pipe with chemical treatments such as degreasing, acid washing, rinsing, and flux coating. Then, immerse it in molten zinc at 440-460°C to form a zinc-iron alloy and a pure zinc coating for corrosion resistance. Finally, cool and inspect.
