Galvanized Sheet Manufacturing Process
- 1.Raw Material Preparation: Cold-rolled or hot-rolled steel coils are selected, leveled, and cleaned to remove grease and surface oxides.
- 2.Surface Treatment: Hot-Dip Galvanizing: After degreasing and acid pickling, the steel passes through a flux solution (e.g., ammonium chloride) to prevent oxidation. Electrogalvanizing: After similar cleaning, the steel enters an electrolytic bath for plating.
- 3.Zinc Coating Process: HDG: Steel is immersed in molten zinc at around 450 °C—a strong, adherent zinc coating forms. Excess zinc is removed with air knives, then the sheet is cooled and solidified.
- 4.Post-Treatment & Inspection: Optional treatments include passivation, light oiling, and anti-fingerprint coating for enhanced corrosion resistance.
