Stretcher Leveling Process
The process usually involves the following steps: First, the steel plate is laid flat. Then, the clamps at both ends of the equipment firmly grip a section of the steel. At this point, a hydraulic system stretches the entire length of the material longitudinally, exceeding its yield point. This redistributes and eliminates the previously unbalanced internal stresses, making the steel plate very flat and stable. After this, the material proceeds to the cutting and stacking steps.
